The Croods: A New Age is a sequel to the original movie, 2013's The Croods. The caveman Grug (Nicolas Cage) is attempting to lead his family to a better place to live.

Oh, and he's still not happy about his daughter Eep's (Emma Stone) romance with Guy (Ryan Reynolds).

The family stumbles onto a seeming paradise, but Grug has to fight a more evolved family called the Bettermans -- Phil (Peter Dinklage), Hope (Leslie Mann) and Dawn (Kelly Marie Tran) -- to keep it. And that's not the only threat they'll face; the question is, can the Croods and the Bettermans work together against a common enemy?

Kids of all ages will love this. It's not my favorite animated movie, but I suspect my husband will buy the disc and I'll find a book to read.
