She is mad about Celtic and European culture and enjoys the music, literature, language and cinema of many countries, especially the UK, France, Spain and Portugal. She has a strong interest in Celtic music, the Gaelic song of the Scottish Western Isles, the structures of jazz and the craft of the singer-songwriter. She also has a growing enthusiasm for world music -- particularly Eastern European, Middle Eastern, Asian and Latin American. She has many other interests, including helping with her local arts/music festival, photography and enjoying nature/wildlife. |
