What Folks are Saying

"I am still hearing amazing things about your performance. I appreciate you all taking the time out of your busy schedules to spread joy and laughter through music! Please send my best to your group and God bless each of you."
- Hope Long, activities director

"Just for the record, you guys TOTALLY ROCK! My mother was a QVC fanatic and Irish to boot, so she loved watching the St. Patrick's Day and Rose of Tralee specials. They offered your CDs once, and after she recovered from laughing herself incontinent at 'The Annotated Finnegan's Wake,' she decided they would make a great gift for me and bought them. After I recovered from laughing myself into a coma at 'Scots-Irish,' I declared Fire in the Glen to be the best Irish group I'd ever heard."
- Arizona fan Sabrina Estrada

"Fire in the Glen plays with the passion and exhilaration to ignite a flame under your feet, leading you on a merry dance from the streets of Dublin to the road to Lisdoonvarna."
- Jo Morrison, Rambles.NET

"You guys are fantastic! You look as though all the time you're playing, you're having a blast with each other and the audience."
- Jim Gordon, fan

"Received my 2 CDs that I ordered. They are as good as I expected them to be and then even better! Please keep on making your music together."
- Connie Kisner, fan

"You guys were a big hit! Thank you and we look forward to booking you for next year's party!"
- Nell McCormack Abom, event organizer

"If there is one thing I love, it is a disc which brings with it not only music, but emotions. And Fire in the Glen has done that; this disc brings about a smile of pleasure, a laugh at just being alive."
- Naomi de Bruyn, Linear Reflections

"Everyone had a really great time. My calves were sore for two days from all that dancing and hopping. You were wonderful. ... Now everytime we hear you play it's going to remind us of our wedding day. A nice, unexpected bonus!"
- Emily Bensinger, newlywed

"Don't count on holding a quiet, polite conversation anywhere near while Knapp and Williamson have the stage. They don't do background music, and they hate to be ignored. But do count on having a good time if you'll give yourself over to the moment, the music, and the stomping."
- John Friel, Fly Magazine

"You made my Mom's whole year when you played for her birthday party this weekend. You are wonderful!"
- Lisa Wickenheiser

"Our guests raved about Fire in the Glen's performance! ... Your appearance added to the overall success of the event, and for that, I am always most grateful!"
- Todd Willman, event organizer

"My wife and I had the pleasure to attend your concert in Carlisle. You have a vitality that amazes and we both had a fantastic time. We look forward to seeing you both again in concert. ... Keep up the good work!"
- Michael Whitty, fan

"Thanks again for being part of our Fine Arts Day. The kids really enjoyed you!"
- Todd Fulginiti, teacher/organizer

"Thanks for helping throw the best wedding reception EVER!"
- Roberta McCann, newlywed

"Thank you soooooo much for making the trip up to entertain us and be a part of our special day. Vanessa and I could not be happier with how the day turned out."
- Jeff Albo, newlywed

"Special thanks ... for an outstanding evening of music. All comments I heard were extremely positive and complimentary. Well done. You guys are great!!!!!!!"
- Bob Nixon, event emcee

"We had many great comments saying it was a perfect gathering ... good food and good entertainment!"
- Peggy Kammerer, director of community services, Moravian Manor
